Dallas/Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators, and AHL’s Belleville Senators, announced today that forward Spencer Asuchak has been suspended by the team.

Spencer Asuchak has signed to play in Romania, with Sport Club Csikszereda. Asuchak played in 25 games this season for Allen and had 10 points (5 goals and 5 assists). The 6-foot-6 and 230-pound forward had not played in a game since January 3rd due to illness.

“We would like to wish Spencer (Asuchak) all the best in his new adventure,” said Americans Head Coach and GM Chad Costello. “He has been a big part of this franchise for a long time.”

The Americans return to action on Wednesday night in Idaho to begin a three-game series with the Steelheads. The next Americans home game is on February 7th against Tulsa.
