Allen, Texas -The Allen Americans won the final game of their three-game series against the Rapid City Rush on Saturday afternoon by a score of 3-2 at CUTX Event Center.
Blake Murray scored a pair of goals for Allen, including the game winner in the third period to extend the Americans winning streak to two games.
Mark Sinclair got the start in goal and picked up the win stopping 41 shots. The Americans scored twice on the power play going 2-for-4.
It was the first time this season that the Americans won back-to-back home games.
The Americans return home next Friday, Saturday, and Sunday to open a three-game series against the Idaho Steelheads.
