– If you look at the team stats above, it is no surprise the Americans biggest issue is defensively, but there has been improvement recently. Since the end of January (18 games) the Americans average goals allowed is 2.78, which is very good.

DID YOU KNOW: The ECHL Stats post today is about attendance. Allen’s average attendance in 2018-19 was 4073 and ranked #17. This season Allen’s average attendance is 3112 and is ranked #19. While the Americans attendance is down from the last pre-covid season, it is not down as much as many other ECHL teams.

Hats off to the only four ECHL teams with a higher average attendance this season than in 2018-19 (pre-covid).
