Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the Seattle Kraken (NHL), swept the Newfoundland Growlers over the weekend, in the first-ever series between the two clubs. The Americans extended their winning streak to three games. Two Allen goaltenders picked up their first professional victories on Saturday and Sunday, as the Americans wrapped up a 3-1 week. The Americans host the Wichita Thunder on Wednesday night, and then play a home-in-home set with the Tulsa Oilers on Friday and Saturday.
