Dallas/Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators, along with Head Coach and General Manager Steve Martinson, announced today that the team signed forward Lukas Sillinger for the 2026-2027 season.
Lukas Sillinger returns to the Americans after playing in 21 games last year with the club (2 goals and 10 assists). The 5-11 and 175-pound Left Wing Forward started the season with the Kelly Cup Champion Florida Everblades, playing in seven games.
The Regina, Saskatchewan, native had a successful college career at Arizona State University, where he averaged more than a point a game in three of his four years, that included a 48-point season in 2023-2024.
“Last year Lukas (Sillinger) had a late start due to hip surgery,” said Americans Head Coach Steve Martinson. “We are looking for him to put up the offense this year like he did in college. He will be attending Tucson Roadrunners Camp in September, which will enable him to start the season at full speed.”

The Americans open their 18th season of professional hockey this October. The team will open the home portion of the schedule on October 29th and 30th with a pair of games against the Idaho Steelheads at Comerica Center in Frisco. TICKETS!
