Sweep in Utah: The Americans combined for 13 goals in two games in a two-game sweep of the Utah Grizzlies last weekend. The Americans beat Utah 7-4 last Sunday. Colby McAuley led the way with three points (2 goals and 1 assist). Michael Gildon (1 goal and 1 assist), Anthony Costantini (1 goal and 1 assist), and Danny Katic (0 goals and 2 assists), all had two-point games. Andre Anania had an assist to extend his point streak and finished the game a plus four, which tied a team high for the season. Jackson Parsons stopped 31 shots to earn his 11th win of the season. Despite being outshot 40-30, the Americans dominated the Grizzlies winning the season series 7-2-1. Both teams were blanked on the Power Play going 0-for-2.

Sedley Returns: Americans defenseman Sam Sedley was returned from loan to Belleville on Thursday. Sedley has appeared in two games this season with the AHL Senators. He leads all Americans defensemen in points with 42.
Rookie First: Americans Rookie Forward Jax Dubois, who made his Americans debut last weekend in Utah, scored his first professional goal last Sunday in the Americans 7-4 victory. The Ottawa, Ontario native had two shots on goal in 16 minutes of action. Dubois played the last two seasons at the University of New Brunswick where he appeared in 60 games and 38 points (18 goals and 20 assists).
