Dallas/Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the NHL’s Ottawa Senators, announced today the team has loaned defenseman Andre Anania to the Iowa Wild.
Andre Anania, a top two defenseman for the Americans this season had 25 points in 43 games this season for the Americans.
The Richmond Hill, Ontario native will get his first chance in the American Hockey League. He played 51 games with the Savannah Ghost Pirates in his rookie season.
In another move by the Americans the acquired the rights to forward Brett Budgell from Bloomington and put him on team suspension. Budgell is currently playing for VSV EC in Austria where he has six points in nine games.
