Americans Notables

Valentines Day Recap: The Americans beat the Tulsa Oilers 5-3 on Saturday night, erupting for four goals in the middle frame, knocking Oilers goalie Vyacheslav Buteyets out of the game. Harrison Blaisdell scored a pair of goals in the second period. Sam Stange and Colton Hargrove also lit the lamp for Allen. The Oilers tried to rally in the third period, but the Americans ended their hopes with a Sam Stange empty-net goal to secure the win. 

How we Matchup with Tulsa: The Americans are 6-4-1 this season against the Tulsa Oilers. The Americans are 3-3-1 at the BOK Center. Over the last five seasons the Americans head-to-head record against the Oilers is 26-27-6-0. Today is the final game of a three-game series. Simmons-Fischer Update: Braidan Simmons-Fischer missed Saturday’s game after leaving Friday night with a concussion. He is out indefinitely. 

Wattage: Brayden Watts hit a personal milestone on Saturday night collecting two helpers to reach 200 assists for his professional career.
