ECHL All Star Classic: The Allen Americans hosted the 2026 ECHL All Star Classic on January 19th at Credit Union of Texas Event Center. Brannon McManus (3 goals and 2 assists), and Brooklyn Kalmikov (2 goals and 3 assists) led the way for Team Stripes. Each player had five points in the game. Team Stripes, coached by Americans Head Coach Steve Martinson, won the game 17-12. The 29 goals scored in the game was an ECHL All Star Classic record. Colton Hargrove had four points for Team Stripes (2 goals and 2 assists). Spencer Asuchak had a pair of goals. For Team Stars, Toledo’s Brandin Hawkins had five points with a hat trick (3 goals and 2 assists). Hank Crone had a goal and two helpers. Brayden Watts had a goal and three assists. Florida’s Wil Cranley was the star between the pipes, allowing just one goal on 16 shots. Cranley picked up the win for Team Stripes.
Last Time Out: The Americans six-game winning streak came to an end last Saturday night in Tulsa, as the Oilers scored four times in the third period splitting the series. The Americans took a 2-1 lead to the third period, but Tulsa’s Cade McNelly scored a pair of goals his first and second of the season to put the Oilers ahead for good. The Oilers scored a pair of empty net goals to make the score more lopsided than the game really was. Brayden Watts (16), and Sam Sedley (4) had the Americans goals.
Americans and Idaho Head-to-Head: The Idaho Steelheads swept a three-game series from the Americans in November. The Americans picked up one of a possible six points in a 3-2 overtime loss in the middle game of the three-game series. Allen is 0-2-1 against the Steelheads this season.
Jackson Parsons Returns: Jackson Parsons returned to the Americans lineup last weekend in Tulsa. Parsons stopped 30 shots in defeat last Saturday. In 11 games this season with Belleville, he had a record of 5-3-1.
