Jakpv Novak

Allen, Texas – The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the Ottawa Senators, and Belleville Senators (AHL) have signed former Senators draft pick Jakov Novak.

Jakov Novak joins the Americans after spending five seasons as a college hockey player, the two most recent with Northeastern University. In 35 games with the Huskies the forward had 12 points (8 goals and 4 assists) for the ‘22-’23 season, and 17 points (8 goals and 9 assists) through 39 games in the ‘21-’22 season.

The six-foot-three and 215-pound center will make his Americans debut on Sunday, in the last game of the Utah Grizzlies series.

“I’m excited to make my pro debut with Allen,” noted Novak. “I’ve heard great things about the Americans from Luke Peressini and Justin Young. Coach Costello was a great player in this league, and I’m excited to learn from him.”

Tickets for Sunday’s game are on sale NOW at the Allen Americans website. Call 972-912-1000 for more information.
