Allen, TEXAS – The Allen Americans, AA affiliate of the NHL’s San Jose Sharks and AHL’s Worcester Sharks, along with the ECHL, are proud to announce that goaltender Riley Gill has been named the CCM ECHL Goalie of the Week for the period ending November 16th.

“Riley had an outstanding week and he made it look easy,” said Allen Americans Head Coach and General Manager Steve Martinson. Gill went 3-0 with a 1.33 goals against average in three wins over Missouri, Wichita and Rapid City last weekend.

Riley Gill attended Western Michigan University from 2006 to 2010, where he played NCAA Division I college hockey with the Broncos. Gill was named to the CCHA All Rookie Team in 2006-2007.
