North Vancouver native Jackson Leppard joins the Allen Americans following six seasons in the Western Hockey League, most recently with the Winnipeg Ice. This will be his first professional season.
The left winger made his first appearance in the WHL with the Prince George Cougars in the 2015-16 season, recording 2 games. He subsequently played in 170 games through the next three seasons and registered 69 points (27G, 40A), including a career-high 36 points in 2017-18.
After beginning the 2019-20 season with the Cougars, Leppard was traded to Winnipeg, and became an instant contributor. In 51 games that season he recorded 35 points (19G, 16A). In his final season with the Ice, he made 24 appearances and chalked up 10 points (2G, 8A).
