A third-year pro hailing from Derry, NH, J.D. Dudek joins the Allen Americans after being with the Worcester Railers at the beginning of the 2021-22 season. 

Dudek spent a season in the United States Hockey League before heading to college, skating in games for the Chicago Steel and Dubuque Fighting Saints in the 2014-15 season. After scoring four goals and two assists in 13 games with the Steel, the forward finished the season with the Fighting Saints. Dudek scored 12 points (6G, 6A) in 41 appearances to wrap up his time with Dubuque. Prior to his lone season in the USHL, Dudek was selected with the 152nd pick in the  6th round by the New Jersey Devils in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. 

Following the conclusion of his junior career, Dudek played four years of collegiate hockey with Boston College. He skated in 149 contests for the Eagles, logging 56 points (28G, 28A). In his junior season, Dudek compiled seven goals and 12 assists en route to a Hockey East regular season championship.

After the conclusion of Dudek’s final season in Chestnut Hill, the forward made his professional debut with the Binghamton Devils of the American Hockey League. He ended the season with five games played, two minutes in the penalty box and a -2 plus/minus. The next season, Dudek began his season with the Worcester Railers in the ECHL, where he would play the next 27 games. In that span, Dudek put up 12 points (2G, 10A). The New Hampshire native would not play the next season, but played in one game with the Railers in the 2021-22 season before being acquired by the Americans. 

This season will be Dudek’s first in the red, white and blue.
