Starting on Monday, July 12th the Allen AMERICANS Professional Hockey Club will open up our design process to the general public, affording the opportunity for fans to design a specialty jersey for the 2021-22 season campaign. There will be three (3) types of jerseys – design one, two, or submit ideas for all three categories.
RETRO: Ideate a retro look for the AMERICANS, using past jersey designs, or a new one that has a yester-year flair
THE EDGE: Present a concept of a jersey design that has never been done before with the AMERICANS. The only requirement is using an AMERICANS branding mark and a sponsor logo (Globe Life) on the front of the sweater.
ALLEN: With the AMERICANS being North Texas’ Pro Hockey Team, we are looking to celebrate our HOMETOWN and add to the mystique of the #CityOfChampions. Come up with a look that shouts A-L-L-E-N in a bold way.
Each contestant will be given a blank template along with Allen AMERICANS branding marks., via google drive. Each designer will have until July 30, 2021 to design a jersey before the official bracketing starts. All submissions will be put in a google form which can be found HERE.
On August 1st the AMERICANS will select the top four (4) entries in each category, which will move on into fan voting on the best designs.
Jerseys must use official AMERICANS brand assets that can be found HERE.
