Allen, Texas -The Allen Americans will have their annual Teddy Bear Toss this Saturday, December 5th at 7:05 pm when the Americans host the Utah Grizzlies at 7:05 pm.

The Allen Americans, in partnership with 444 Angel  and Scottish Rite Hospital, will deliver hundreds of teddy bears to sick kids this holiday season. Allen Americans players and Ice Angels, along with team mascot Biscuit have been a big part of this great event for six seasons.

“Having two healthy children of my own with a third on the way, I love being a part of this special event,” said Allen Americans Co-Captain Chad Costello. “The three hours of our time we donate for a hospital visit compared to what some of these kids are going through is nothing. It gives you a great feeling inside to see the smiles on their faces when you hand them a teddy bear.”

Allen Americans fans are asked to bring a new teddy bear to the game on December 5th and throw the teddy bear out on the ice when the Americans score their first goal.
