Independence, Missouri – Gary Steffes scored his 20th of the season, and his 100th career goal, as the Americans nipped the Missouri Mavericks 2-1 at Independence Events Center. Riley Gill, in for the injured Aaron Dell, stopped all 18 shots he faced to pick up the win.

Saturday, January 10th vs. Missouri – 4-3 OT Win

Allen, Texas  – Gary Steffes deflected home the game winner in overtime to lift the Allen Americans to a 4-3 overtime win over the Missouri Mavericks. Nolan Descoteaux scored his first of the season, earning the second star of the night.

 

Sunday, January 11th vs. Missouri – 3-1 Win

Allen, Texas – Ian Schultz had a goal and an assist to lead the Americans to a 3-1 win on Sunday over the Missouri Mavericks. Jack Combs added an empty net goal, his 22nd of the season, late in the third period to secure the win.
