ALLEN, TX, November 9, 2021 – The Allen AMERICANS Professional Hockey Club, “AA” affiliate of the Seattle Kraken, will have an action-packed schedule for fans at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center as the club hosts a pair of ice hockey doubleheaders on Saturday, and Sunday. AMERICANS tickets for each day are good for admission to both the ECHL games and the earlier exhibition games. Click to purchase tickets.

The action begins Saturday at 4:30 p.m. CST with an exhibition game between the Dallas Warriors and the Oklahoma Warriors. The Dallas Warriors are a DFW-based hockey team composed of U.S. Military Veterans whose mission is to give disabled veterans a positive way to rehab. The organization strives to connect communities to our United States service members by demonstrating first-hand the desire to achieve excellence in everything that they do.

To recognize their service to our nation, the AMERICANS offer all military veterans a $4 discount on day-of-game tickets. Through the “Pass The Puck” program, veterans can attend a variety of games free of charge, plus they can check Vet Tix for donated tickets, when applicable.

Live music returns to the Grande Communications Plaza starting Saturday at 5:00 p.m. with the hot sounds of Luna on Fire taking the stage, followed by the second matchup between the AMERICANS and ECHL Mountain Division rival the Kansas City Mavericks. The game is set for puck drop at 7:05 p.m.

Fans attending Saturday night’s game may also bring non-perishable food items to the Red Lamp Foundation’s “PACK THE TRUCK” event to help support the Bob Skaggs Memorial Food Drive/Salvation Army. Donations will be received in the Classic of Texoma AMERICANS Silverado, which will be parked by the main entrance of the event center.

Adding to the action is another Advocacy Behavior Consulting Community Sunday featuring a twin-bill on the ice, as the AMERICANS COLLEGE CLASSIC, presented by FASTSIGNS Plano, opens Game #1 play in a 12:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon tilt between TCU and Dallas Baptist University.

The AMERICANS host the Wichita Thunder to close out the weekend’s action, with Sunday puck drop set for 4:05 p.m. Fans attending Sunday afternoon’s game may also bring blankets, socks, underwear and toiletries to the Red Lamp Foundation’s “PACK THE TRUCK” to help support the Collin County Homeless Coalition. Donations will be received in the Classic of Texoma AMERICANS Silverado, which will be parked by the main entrance of the CUTX Event Center.

“We are thrilled to bring an amazing variety of games and causes to North Texas’ attention this weekend,” says Mike Waddell, AMERICANS President | Governor. “From raising awareness of Alzheimer’s Disease and supporting local charities to hosting a collegiate hockey tournament and honoring those who’ve served our great country, AMERICANS fans are in for a great weekend. Hockey truly is a sport for everyone.”
