AMERICANS PARTNER WITH CUE AUDIO TO OFFER FANS A ONE-OF-A-KIND GAMEDAY EXPERIENCE

Team becomes the first ECHL club to adopt the CUE Audio platform

ALLEN, TX, October 15, 2021 – The Allen AMERICANS Professional Hockey Club, “AA” affiliate of the Seattle Kraken, today announced a new fan experience partnership with data-over-audio company CUE Audio for the launch of the new AMERICANS Gameday App. The Allen AMERICANS are the first ECHL team to engage CUE’s full suite of products including the gameday app, synchronized light show, trivia, and countdown cam, as well as CUE’s newest 50/50 raffle software.

Other CUE Audio clients include the Green Bay Packers, Houston Texans & New Orleans Saints (NFL), New Orleans Pelicans & Indiana Pacers (NBA), plus a host of major college athletics programs. One of the most exciting features will be the opportunity to participate in live light shows when the AMERICANS take the ice at the beginning of the game and at other special points during the action.

The new smartphone experience will allow fans to become more active than ever before at AMERICANS Game nights/days by using the app to download the latest rosters, game notes, buy merchandise, listen to Tommy Daniels’ live game broadcast, participate in auctions, and engage in live promotions with game host Kaity Floyd. You’ll also be able to follow the growth of the 50/50 raffle, which will give fans a chance to win cash while also benefiting local nonprofits through the club’s Red Lamp Foundation.

Download the free app today in the iOS App Store or on Google Play.

To participate in light shows, fans need to download the AMERICANS Gameday App from their smartphone’s app store prior to the game. When longtime Public Address Announcer Lee Hastings prompts the audience and the house lights fade out, fans can open the app and from there, CUE will instantly pulse fans’ smartphone flashlights and LED screens in sync to the beat of the Americans’ theme and other in-game music. The CUE technology does not require cellular service, Bluetooth, or a Wi-Fi connection to work, thereby eliminating connectivity issues that negatively impact live sporting events.

“Now in our 13th season of action, we’re bringing a new level of fan engagement to AMERICANS hockey games,” said Team President and Governor Mike Waddell. “On and off the ice, our Team is back and stronger than ever. Partnering with CUE Audio is one of the experience investments we’ve made for Season XIII, and we can’t wait to welcome the best fans in North Texas back to our 36 home games this regular season, and into the playoffs as we chase our 5th championship in 13 years.”

“We’re excited to partner with the Allen AMERICANS to create a platform for fan engagement, charitable fundraising, dazzling cell phone light shows, all through a one-stop mobile experience for fans,” said Ira Akers, Co-Founder of CUE Audio.

The AMERICANS open #SeasonXIII with four straight home games, back-to-back Saturday (7:05 p.m.)/Sunday (2:05 p.m.) games on October 23 and 24 against the Wichita Thunder, and October 30 and 31 vs. the Utah Grizzlies. For tickets, visit Allenamericans.com/tickets or call 972-912-1000.
