Salt Lake City, Utah – The Allen Americans, ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, dropped their third straight game falling to the Utah Grizzlies on Saturday night by a score of 5-3 at the Maverik Center.

The Americans scored the first goal of the game as David Makowski ripped one past Utah goalie Kevin Carr on the power play to put Allen up 1-0. Cole Ully would tie the score halfway through the first period firing a puck through a screen that beat Jeremy Brodeur. The game was even at 1-1 after the first period.

For the second night in a row, Utah would score three times in the second period building a 4-1 lead. The Americans didn’t quit putting up a fight in the third to close the gap to one goal.
